Do I need to touch poop?

Nope! When you have the right setup for Modern Cloth Nappies, there is no need for you to be getting icky at all!

Here’s how it’s done:

Dealing with wee: Simply remove nappy from baby , remove the inserts and store in a dry pail or laundry bag. Wash using the routine specified by the brand label.

Dealing with newborn/breastfed poo: Just the same as above! Newborn/breastfed poop is water soluble.

Dealing with solids/formula poo: Try rolling/scraping poo into the toilet, store in a dry pail or lidded bucket. Wash. Or to make it even easier, line the nappy with a reusable liner, shake into the toilet and wash.

For those really invested, spray nozzles/guns can be installed in your laundry or toilet to make the removal of the not-so-solid-solids a breeze.

Don’t even get me started on poop brushes… (Ok, people sometimes use silicone dishwashing brushes to help remove solids).
