How do I wash my cloth products?

When it comes to washing your cloth products, you must always follow the directions specific to the label/brand you are using. This is because different manufacturers use different products and fibres to create your cloth products.

As for cloth menstrual pads, follow the same rules as nappies for your brand unless stated otherwise in the product information pages.

General rules are:

  1. Flush solids in the toilet.

  2. Remove all inserts and boosters, undo any snaps, and fold away velcros before washing.

  3. Prewash or rinse.

  4. Use the recommended dose of detergent for your load in a long main wash.

  5. Do not wash over 60 degrees Celsius.

  6. Do not use fabric softeners or bleaches.

  7. Do not to tumble dry any laminated/waterproof/PUL products.

Remember, your warranty is void if you don’t follow the brand’s specific washing instructions.
